Six cancelled flights, a night in a hotel, a rented minivan and 5 gas stations later…I AM BACK!! Let me tell you…you haven’t lived until you have ridden 13 hours in the back seat of a minivan wedged between two carseats.

We went on a family vacation that became an extended vacation due to the weather in Atlanta and our good friends at Delta. *Sarcasm implied*

The cruise was wonderful! The girls had a blast. When asked what her favorite part of the trip was McKenna informed me that it was “ice cream.” They have ice cream machines on all the time and McKenna can now operate one all by herself. She had a minimum of two cones a day. Both girls were extremely good under the circumstances and we got pretty good at planning Avery’s daily milk in take to make sure we had enough on ice for the next day. Traveling with a baby is not for the faint of heart and requires a lot of planning ahead. I am not a planner. I am more of a let’s roll and we’ll figure out the details as we go kind of girl.

McKenna managed to lock her Daddy out of our room when she suddenly took her room key and went outside and across the hall to Aunt Annya’s room. Her Daddy went out chasing her and into the hall only to realize that he did not have a key to our room or Annya’s room. He finally coaxed McKenna to the door in Aunt Annya’s room and they hung out in there until we got back.

Here are a few pictures from the trip.

A little guitar player found roaming the streets of Cozumel.

Me and Averycakes on the Conch Train in Key West, FL. She slept for the remainder of the tour…and I wasn’t complaining.

That’s all for now. My computer only has 6% of the battery left so I gotta run!
