Once upon a time, in a land far away, there lived a King and Queen and their many beautiful daughters. There were also, might I add, other beautiful people in the kingdom including two lovely ladies in waiting and a few wenches etc. 
One day during a jousting tournament, two would-be robbers attacked the kingdom.
The robbers took the princesses to tower in a land far, far away.
A terrible and terrifying dragon guarded the tower where the princesses were held.
Meanwhile, the nights from the kingdom along with the King and Queen set off to rescue their daughters from the evil robbers and slay the dragon.
A terrible battle ensued! 
The robbers were defeated and the dragon was slain with the girl power assistance of the princesses.

We had a wonderful time on our medieval adventure this weekend!!
i never saw this post! so awesome…so glad you and the girls were there slay the dragon with us. meanwhile, the boys are just glad that we no longer do things like dress them as a dragon and sic sword-wielding wild children upon them. happily ever after for all. 🙂
