Date Night, VBS and Mom’s Birthday

My husband and I enjoyed a Date Night last night. We rarely eat anywhere without a playground anymore. We had dinner at Atlantic Grill in Greenville and it was wonderful! They make everything from scratch and their radio advertisement says their beef is from a local grower. I had the molasses glazed pork chop. It was at least 3 inches think but cooked perfectly. Chad had a steak – which he said was one of the best steaks he’s ever eaten. And then we split a little vanilla cheesecake for desert. The dining room is small but it would be worth the wait if you wanted to splurge for a special occasion.

I would have taken pictures but my husband frowns upon that sort of thing. Last week we had Bible School at my church. By the end of the week the girls and I were exhausted. It is hard for a working-mommy to get home, change clothes, feed everyone and make it to Bible School by 6:30. Luckily I have a lot of help. The theme was “Upside down and inside out on Main Street- where Jesus makes a difference everyday!.” The girls had a great time and learned a lot. Here are a few of my favorite pictures.

Happy Birthday (a little late) to my sweet Mama! I love her SO MUCH and I’m so blessed to be her daughter! We went out for dinner last Saturday night and then had cake and icecream at my house Monday. I may have been the last one to get there but everyone seemed to have a good time.
