Life on the Bay Bush

Thankful

We have so much to be THANKFUL for today (and every day).  Sometimes it’s easy to take all the blessings for granted when there are so many.

I think a lot about Mothers in other countries (and our own) who struggle every day to feed their children.  I can’t imagine how frustrating and sad it would be to see your child go hungry.

I think a lot about the Mothers who have children fighting for their lives in hospitals all across the world.  Seeing your child suffer is unbearable.

I think a lot about people who don’t have anywhere warm to sleep tonight.  It’s impossible to get comfortable if you’re cold.  I can’t imagine not having a place to escape the cold at the end of the day.

I think a lot about the families who are separated, not just at the Holidays, but everyday due to wars, work, death and circumstances.  I look forward to Chad walking in the door every night.  I like the idea of having someone on my team at the end of the day.  I don’t know how I would survive without being able to look forward to him coming home every night.

Life is hard.  There is no doubt about that.  But it’s a lot harder for some than for most of us.

So, I’m very thankful today.  I’m so blessed and I hope you are too.  And I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
