Avery’s 5th Birthday

Somehow, my baby turned 5 last month.  I’m trying to get the old blog caught up on all things happening on the Bay Bush.  Here are all the details from my Miss Averycakes 5th Birthday!

She wanted a frozen party (only after changing her mind 1,000 times with themes ranging from Ben 10 to Paw Patrol to Princesses).

The cake was so cute and rather tasty!

We decided to have her Party at local party place because I didn’t have the time or energy to clean out my garage and you never know what November weather will be like.

The party package came with a face painter which was a big hit with the kids.  Probably not so much with the parents as it took me 2 days to get that pink butterfly off of her face.

Mom and Dad with my sweet little nephew!

I was so excited when I found this Olaf balloon at Walmart!  Sadly, he was punctured on the way to the party so we just taped him to the wall and called it a day.

I found the plates and cups at Walmart and stole the snowflakes from my Christmas decoration stash.

(The men seemed to prefer to congregate in the corner safely away from the bounce house.)

And on Avery’s actual birthday we had a little party at her preschool during snack time.  She was so excited that she got to be the line leader on her birthday!  It’s the little things, right?

Her little friends sang Happy Birthday and then they ate as much icing and potato chips as possible.

Then they hit the play ground to burn off some of that sugar.

And nothing says Birthday Fun like rolling down a hill, y’all.

I can’t believe she is five.  On her birthday I asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up.  She said, “Nothing.  I want to be a kid forever.”  She is wise beyond her years already.

Happy Birthday Miss Avery!
