I thought I would share snippets from the rest of our trip to Myrtle Beach. I shared our trip Brookgreen Gardens on Monday.
We usually hit up Steak N Shake at least one each trip for all you can pancakes! The food is good but the service is always terrible.
Uncle Rusty took McKenna and Tyler on the beach to hunt for sand crabs one night. All of the other kids were already sacked out when they went. Here’s the poor little guy they brought back to the camper. Don’t worry, he was released back to the wild shortly thereafter.
We spent a few early mornings and late evenings at the beach. It was just so hot in the middle of the day you couldn’t stand it.
When we didn’t go to the beach we went to the pool/lazy river at the Campground. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park again this time. They had pool games during the day and through the evening. The girls and I went on Family Night. They had a DJ and pool games (complete with line dancing). I laughed so hard watching Avery trying to do some of those dances. She truly dances to the beat of her own drum. I wish I had a video of it to share with you!
We made many laps in the lazy river!
On July 4th, there was a parade through the Campground, complete with a marching band followed by lots of golf carts decorated for Independence Day!
After the parade, we went to the beach for the Salute the Shore. Several military planes flew down the coast line and Tyler was in heaven. He loves a plane!
I was so glad that Sister brought this wagon for the kids to ride in! It was a long walk to the pool and beach! It was so nice to have a spot to corral the three little ones.
And when we weren’t riding in the wagon, swimming or beaching it…we were eating.
(I was glad Sister brought this little picnic table too!)
Oh! And we squeezed in a little shopping too! But shopping with 5 kids comes with some challenges. The kids did enjoy the fish tanks at the Bass Pro Shop.
We also caught Cirque Extreme at the Palace Theatre that was okay.
All that fun wore us out! These two fight like cats and dogs all day long but I found them all snuggled up together every morning. Maybe they do love each other…
And that sums up our trip to Myrtle Beach, SC!
