I don’t normally do a lot of decorating for Halloween outside of my normal Fall decor. It seems like a lot of work for something that is over before you know it.
However, I found a six pack of black glitter spiders for 50% off at Michaels and that started it all…
Those little spiders set off a chain reaction and I had an entire spider-filled tablescape before I knew it.
I used dental floss to hang several of the spiders from the light fixture. It worked perfectly and even looked like the beginning of a spider web!
In the center of the table, I used a mercury vase with my bouquet from my Sister’s wedding as the centerpiece. On the side above, I added a couple of clearance pumpkins from last year. Next, I added a white artificial rose and a skull from Michaels that was also 50% off!
On the other side, I added a witch hat from an old costume. It just happened to have a spider web deign, an old tarnished silver teapot and silver candles from my Christmas decorations.
After the first set of photos for the project, I bought a few more spiders. I added these to the napkin rings. They aren’t attached but lay on top of the rings nicely.
What do you think? Do you decorate for Halloween or just skip straight to Thanksgiving/Fall? I must say that my little Halloween Tablescape makes me smile whenever I see it!
