Welcome to my Holiday Home Tour! I’ve been as busy as a bee putting the finishing touches on the Christmas décor to share with you guys!
We’ll start on the porch. I found this fantastic old door at the Habitat Restore for $10! I’m so excited to change out the decorations on it with the seasons going forward.
I put an extra garland on the shelf of the coffee table and threw a few extra ornament balls into the center to create a sweet and simple centerpiece.
Y’all come on in! (You can find a full video tutorial on how I made this garland here.)
I shared my foyer and dining room a couple of weeks ago in my Christmas Tablescape post. You can see the full post here.
You never know what you will see at our house!
And one more of the formal dining room…
I continued the red and green décor into the living room. Y’all know I love to decorate the mantel.
These stocking are so precious to me! One of the sweetest ladies I know made these by hand for us when we moved into our house six years ago. That was before the baby came along so this year she made another one for us! There is no telling how many hours she spent making these and I love them so much!
I made those peppermints years ago from an old cheese box. You can read the full tutorial here. For tips on decorating your mantel, check out this post.
This year, I used a few large candy canes and decorative sticks for the topper.
This garland is over 11 years old. I just keep patching it up year after year. It looks so pretty hanging from the stairs.
I carried the red into the kitchen as well. I used a red tablecloth on the table and topped it with an extra tree skirt from the attic and placemats. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! My Christmas Cake Plate covered the center whole in the tree skirt perfectly.
I keep all the Christmas cards on my pantry doors. I usually use paperclips to attach them to ribbon but I just used Washi tape this year. I’ve added a few more since this photo was taken. I love checking the mail at Christmas time!
I also like this fun little chalkboard that I break out every year at Christmas.
The hot cocoa bar is a hit with the kids…and the kids at heart! The marshmallows and cocoa packets are hiding behind the Christmas Countdown.
Finally, the little tree in the girls room is the last stop on our tour. It holds all their Disney ornaments and some of the ones they’ve made in school. The star and skirt are both from Target a few years ago.
Thank you all so much for taking the tour and sticking with me until the end!
