Welcome to Summer you guys! When my blog friends and I were mulling over Summer Tablescapes, I immediately thought of an outdoor BBQ to celebrate Independence Day! I love a good BBQ and a fun, little table just brings the celebration up a notch. So I decided to take my tablescape outdoors for this round Tablescape Blog Hopping.
I started with a Navy Stars tablecloth and Flag runner I found on clearance at Target after the 4th last year. I love to scout the clearance aisle and hoard stuff for the next year. (It’s a problem. It’s really bad after Christmas.) The paper plates, cups, straws and napkins were also from the same time.
True story. It was a little windy on the day that I photographed this one and the cups kept blowing away. I finally doubled up on them and filled them up with pebbles so I could finish the pictures. #bloggerprobs
I trimmed a few branches off of my rose bushes and placed them in an antique soup tureen. Then, I added the paper fans and a little flag to make a quick and easy centerpiece. The fans were a clearance find too but I can’t remember where I picked them up.
Everything else is a repeat from other tablescapes throughout the years.
Now, hop on over to all the other amazing tables and show these ladies some love!
