Deck The Halls {2018}

Beautiful Christmas Decor in Formal Dining Room

So way back in 2016 I shared a Christmas Home Tour and haven’t shared one since.  What can I say?  I’ve been busy.  So I was super excited when my friend, Kelly from North Country Nest invited me to join the Holiday Home Tour she was hosting!

North Country Nest // Joy in Our Home // Postcards from the Ridge // Sand Dollar Lane // Town and Country Living

A Blue Nest // DIY Beautify // Making it in the Mountains // Twelve on Main

The Frugal Homemaker // A Tattered Pew // Virginia Sweet Pea

Aratari At Home // The Honeycomb Home // Life on the Bay Bush Blog // Frazzled Joy // Cozy Traditional Home

Today is the last day of the tour so be sure to go back and check out all the links from the past week! Be sure to show all these ladies some holiday love!

When I signed up for the Home Tour I didn’t realize it was a Farmhouse Home Tour.  While my style is not what I would call “farmhouse,” I live in a farmhouse and am married to a farmer so technically I’m calling it farmhouse, okay?  Just roll with me here.

So y’all come on in!  We’ll start on the porch!

Love this Christmas Porch decor!

This is the second year the tree has been in the foyer/dining room.  I love having it in here!  I don’t have to move any furniture out of the living to squeeze the tree in there and we can still see it from the family room.

How cute is this little Ho Ho Ho plate painted with child's thumbprints?

My oldest daughter painted the Reindeer plate using her thumbprints! It’s one of my favorite pieces!

I did a full post last week showing my Whimsical Christmas Tablescape but here are a few pictures of the dining room that I did not share in that post.

This tree is made from a tomato cage, mesh and ribbon! So pretty!

I made this Christmas tree last year from a tomato cage, lights and lots of mesh and ribbon.  It’s another of my favorites!  And you never know where an elf may be hiding around here!

Like I mentioned before, we can still see the tree from the family room.

This poor garland is at least ten years old.  I keep piecing it back together every year though when the pieces fall off!

I love to decorate my mantel for the holidays.  (You can see a lot of my older mantels here.)

I love to decorate my mantel for Christmas!

I have a small mantel above the stove in the kitchen that I like to decorate as well.  Luckily, I don’t use the stuff in those cabinets often so I rarely have to take it down.

I put a small tree in the kitchen this year.  It makes a cute vignette with a Christmas puzzle my Mom framed for McKenna after they put it together one year.

And last stop is the Master Bedroom…the Christmas decor is pretty sparse in here.  I added a Christmas pillow to the bed and berries to the sconces above.

But my favorite part is the way everything looks at night!

Thanks for sticking around until the end!  Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!  And don’t forget to tour all the beautiful real farmhouses in the Blog Hop!
