Hi! I’m so excited to be back on the blog and participating in the One Room Challenge this spring! I decided this (strange) time was the perfect time to join and start our downstairs bathroom makeover.
We’ve been in our house for ten years now and this room has been mostly untouched since we moved in. I’ve added a few decorative touches over the years but the walls have remained the basic white we used to paint most of the closets, ceilings and smaller rooms in our home.
I am terrible about taking “before” pictures of projects. I am usually so excited to get going I just dive right in. However, I did find a few pictures of the space from Christmas. Hopefully it will give you an idea of where I started.

The Plan
It’s a fairly small bathroom so I want to keep things as light and bright as possible. Check out the mood board I designed for the space.
My To-Do List
- Add Board and Batten
- Add hooks to hang bath towels
- Caulk trim
- Paint
- DIY Artwork
- Hang Shower Curtain
- New Acrylic Shelf for Shower
- Purge & Organize Drawers
I can’t wait to show you the progress I’ve made on this bathroom makeover next week!
For now, check out my past one room challenges! Here is McKenna’s Tween Bedroom Makeover reveal and the Guest Bedroom Makeover Reveal from a few years ago! Now go check out all the other One Room Challenges happening this round by clicking here. I love seeing all the rooms transform!
