Life on the Bay Bush

Hoop Dee Doo Revue {Disney Day 4}

After our day at Animal Kingdom, we were ready for dinner at the Hoop Dee Doo Revue.  We hopped a bus to the Magic Kingdom where we caught a water taxi over to Fort Wilderness.

The Hoop Dee Doo Revue is a Dinner Theatre located at Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness Campground.

We chose the “Level 2” seating because Level 1 isn’t available under the Dining Plan.  We couldn’t have asked for better seats.  We were at the back table on the bottom floor.  This table was elevated about 2 feet taller than all the tables in front of us so we could see everything with no obstructions.

The food was served family style and was all you can eat.  The girls loved the fried chicken.  The menu consisted of salad, fried chicken, pulled pork, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes and strawberry shortcake!  It also includes an array of beverages.

The cast interacted with the audience throughout the show.

Each table received their own “washboard” to play along with the musicians.

The cast came out into the audience and rounded up all the kids for a parade around the hall.

We all had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the show!  It’s a great show for kids and adults.  I think the Hoop Dee Doo is a rite of passage and everyone should go at least once!
