Remember when I went to Haven Conference a few weeks ago? Remember when I told you I met some amazing bloggers? Remember when I told you in my Be Our Guest post that I had an exciting project that I was working on?
I’m so excited to share it with you guys today!
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be working with Beth at So Much Moore and Tori at Mess to Blessed on a closet makeover series…using what you have. And guess what else? You guys are welcome to join us through this journey! And there will be prizes! Does this day get any better?
So what do we mean by using what you have? Does that mean you can’t buy anything for the makeover? Absolutely not. This entire series stemmed from Beth’s idea that we all come from different places, have different talents and strengths and different closets. My goals for my closet may be completely different from yours or Tori’s or Beth’s.
There will be three phases to the mission.
- The Purge
- The Organizing and DIYs
- The Final Reveal
I will share my first phase next Monday, followed by highlights from Beth and Tori’s post on Wednesday. Then, I’ll do the same for phases 2 and 3 in the following weeks. We would love for you guys to share your closet progress at each phase in the comments for that post. We may even feature it in a post! If you don’t have a blog, you can still participate by emailing the photo to me, Tori or Beth.
I can’t wait for you guys to get to know Beth Moore! Beth is so friendly and encouraging! She is a wife, blogger and mom of four! You can follow Beth on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram by clicking on each link.
Now meet Tori! She is also a wife, blogger and mom of four! (I’m feeling like I need another baby to keep up with these girls!) And she is hilarious in real life! You can follow Tori on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram by clicking on each link.
So who is in? You’ve got until next Monday to get that closet purged so you can share it in comments on Monday. And this is a no stress, go with the flow, A+ for effort type of project. Do the best you can. Work with what you have. If you have something you have been holding onto forever but aren’t using, let it bless someone else. That’s what I have to keep repeating to myself…let it bless someone else…let it bless someone else…
I can’t wait to see your closets!
I actually started cleaning mine out today, before reading this post. I did not take a picture of it though. It was rough!
That’s okay! Take a picture of the after-purge or the stuff you have pulled to donate. So happy you are joining us! 🙂
