Did you catch all the amazing Christmas Tablescapes on Monday? I’m so excited to share mine with you guys!
I normally do all silver and blue in the dining room. But I wanted to mix things up a little this year so I went with red, white and silver instead. That’s my favorite decorating tip…if you get tired of something or think you need new stuff…just move it to another spot. It’s like getting new stuff without buying anything!
That’s the best part about this tablescape! I didn’t have to buy a single thing! However, I will share some affiliate links throughout the post to similar products if you want to recreate it.
The white bowl was the starting point for the tablescape. I found it at Homegoods several years ago. I filled it with mercury glass vase and silver glass ornaments like these on Amazon.
The garland with silver disco ball ornaments hanging from the light fixture just make me happy!
I went fairly simplistic with the rest of the tablescape to balance everything out.
My formal china (from our wedding registry) is Parchment by Mikasa paired with plain silver charger. I also added a solid white napkin and added the red berries that I usually use in my Dollar Tree vases at Christmas time. I love the little punch of red in combination with the red candlesticks and bouquet.
The bunting on the china cabinet is a fun touch and I also added a couple of Dollar store snowflakes leftover from Avery’s Frozen 5th Birthday Party.
The dining room opens into the foyer so we may as well take a peek in there while we’re at it.
I bought those poinsettia trees the day after Christmas about 10 years ago at Sam’s Club. It’s my favorite day after Christmas spot! Those poinsettias remind me of truffula trees from the Lorax.
I added a few touches of red to the buffet table and called it a day! (The jury is still out on the gold sign in the picture. It will probably be relocated before Christmas is over.)
So that’s my Christmas Tablescape and dining room! Be sure to check out the rest of the links in the Blog Hop!
