Have you guys noticed dough bowls popping up everywhere lately? I’m so smitten with them!
I have a dough bowl that belonged to my Grandmother that was just sitting in the cabinet so I decided to incorporate it into my kitchen decor. If it’s not going to get any biscuit-making love it may as well look pretty, right?
I decided to use my dough bowl in the kitchen. Honestly, this table in the corner has been covered with stacks of mail for so long that I haven’t really decorated it before. Now that I have my handy-dandy mail organizer and have sorted through the old mail, it was in need of a little update!
I filled the dough bowl with a few faux apples and filler from a large shell in my living room.
Mom found the “J” on clearance at TJ Maxx and the tray was a lucky Hobby Lobby 90% off find. The pitcher matches my everyday dinnerware and I folded a magnolia stem in half to put inside it. The plates hanging above it were part of the same collection that Tracy Porter had in Target when we got married 12 years ago. Time flies y’all. I had to search through my collection to find four salad plates that weren’t chipped. We use these all the time!
I would love to have a really big dough bowl like this handmade one on Amazon.
I also have a Pinterest Board with nothing but Dough bowls! Follow it to see all of my favorite dough bowl decor ideas!
